Content Marketing Coordinator 

Description

Job Summary: As a Content Marketing Coordinator you will create and publish effective and engaging communications to our external and internal audiences.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in upholding the Company's Core Values and promoting a positive and constructive working environment

Editorial

  • Develop content strategies and produce engaging editorial content

  • Write, package, and deliver communication concerning new products, projects, staff, and initiatives to internal and external audiences, leveraging digital and social assets

  • Create corporate communications and interdepartmental newsletters and updates

  • Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive demand

  • Champion content excellence and play a key role in evolving the stories we tell and how we share them with our key audiences

  • Development of editorial governance, creating content that is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone

  • Develop and manage editorial calendar and organizational workflows

  • Conduct interviews of and develop rapport with internal and external story subjects

  • Write compelling media pitches and press releases

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate and oversee the story collection, production, and distribution process

  • Follow through on all commitments to our fans and customers

  • Anticipate issues, provide counsel and planning for handling crisis communications

Strategic

  • Execute content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.

  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion

  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the Company's business objectives

  • Incorporate and balance objectives of all departments to oversee production of strategic, compelling stories

  • Work with HR, Management, and Leadership to plan and craft internal announcements and other internal communications

SEO/Web/Analytics

  • Shape our editorial approach, including leveraging data and analytics to drive better content and packaging insights for colleagues and partners

  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution

  • Measure and optimize SEO and digital marketing initiatives on a regular and ongoing basis

  • Manage and update all content on company website

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Mailchimp, WordPress, Google analytics, SEO

  • Knowledge of Craft CRM a plus

  • Experience in digital content creation and social media platforms. HTML knowledge is a plus

  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement

  • Stellar creative writing skills with an eye for detail, a vast grasp of grammar, and an understanding of AP Style

  • Photoshop skills are encouraged

  • Must have basic photo/video editing capabilities

  • Highly organized with an attention to detail and long-range planning

  • Customer communication skills are preferred

  • Experience or background in media/publishing and journalism a plus

  • Strong analytical skills a plus

  • Understanding of story fundamentals (effective character, trajectory, hook, authenticity/details and calls-to-action)

  • Keen sense of newsworthiness (what makes a story interesting from the audience’s perspective)

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment

  • Focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales

  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

  • Strategic thinker with experience in managing crises and handling sensitive issues, including competitive, regulatory, and social issues

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and rapidly changing environment

  • Passion for writing/reporting or business of beverage and beer
