We are looking for a Certified DIesel Engine Inspector to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. The ideal candidate will: Provide oversight of first article testing; shipyard installation, alignment and inspections. Provide oversight of auxiliary support system installation, inspections, testing, and light off. Conduct engine safe to start certifications. Interface with the Navy diesel technical community working groups. Provide program office support to evaluate design recommendations, equipment failure impacts and risks.   Position Requirements Required Education, Skills, Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of applicable experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity. (Military experience can be substituted for an engineering degree if four (4) or more years of specific work experience can be demonstrated in an analogous or higher-level position). Current Navy Diesel Engine Inspector (DEI) certification. Ability to travel (less than 10%) to support DEI activities in a shipyard, naval facility, or OEM manufacturing facility. Must have and maintain a current DoD security clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance prior to hire. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.   Some TCG customers require individuals providing support to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
