All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Job Summary The Pricing Analyst, Business Intelligence will focus on supporting initiatives within the Business Intelligence department by analyzing data relevant to ticket pricing of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This position will implement, maintain and refine existing predictive models used to maximize organizational revenue. This position will also work to manage product inventory, build targeted offers, and execute pricing strategy across all platforms. In addition, the Pricing Analyst, Business Intelligence will discuss and present work for both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: Maintain, implement, and refine predictive models with a primary focus on dynamic ticket pricing to maximize revenue for the organization. Collaborate with Manager, Quantitative Analytics to analyze model output and quality check to make educated recommendations. Collaborate with BI leadership to streamline and automate processes across all platforms. Collaborate with Ticket Sales & BI leadership to establish pricing and inventory management strategies centered around revenue maximization. Execute pricing and inventory management strategies across all platforms. Collaborate with Ticket Sales & BI leadership to create targeted ticket offers and maximize revenue. Collaborate with BI leadership to build out comprehensive reporting to track success and lift of pricing strategies. Research emerging statistical methods, algorithms, and tools relevant to dynamic pricing strategies and industry trends. Recommend, develop, and implement them where applicable. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports for various projects as needed. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Candidates with experience in ticket sales who demonstrate a familiarity of statistics and analytics will also be considered. Experience with relational database systems and some knowledge of SQL. Familiar with one or more programming languages, preferably Python or R. Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate, translate, and transform large-scale datasets. Desired: Experience with ticketing data and its relationships to the marketplace. Experience with a ticketing system. Experience with a CRM system. Experience with an enterprise reporting system (i.e. Tableau).
