Role Summary:

We are looking for a sales professional to help us identify and partner with grocery retailers. This is a unique opportunity to assist our leadership team in prospecting retailers to build new partnerships for long term business growth and success. You will own the sales cycle with top grocers, including conducting sales meetings and preparing content in advance of engagements that will effectively message our value proposition tailored to each client.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, and laser-focused on meeting / exceeding quarterly and annual goals. Further, this individual has a track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues and securing quality business with long-term, repeatable success in mind. Not only will you be assisting in the initial sales meetings with prospective retailers, but you will also support the onboarding process and assist with the partner relationship post-sale.

You will own:

  • Identifying grocery retailers that are the right fit for AdAdapted's unique offering

  • Preparing sales/marketing collateral for presentations with app partners, collaborating with leadership to ensure we are messaging AdAdapted solutions to prove utmost value to potential partners in prospecting phase

  • Securing and conducting sales meetings, with a team support and at times independently owning partner relationship entirely

  • Maintaining current and accurate information updates in our CRM system (Salesforce)

  • Assisting with partner onboarding and ongoing relationship building, ensuring other teams within AdAdapted seamlessly integrate to join projects as-needed

 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Sales, Marketing, Advertising or related degree preferred)

  • 5+ years proven experience selling digital media campaigns including CPG experience, experience with partnership or channel sales preferred

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota within ad-tech, martech

  • Deep understanding of mobile, in-app advertising with desire to learn more about AdAdapted products

  • A viable, current network of digital media Agencies & Contacts

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects at once.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, desire and previous experience to lead client conversations with senior-level professionals preferred. Desire to collaborate and communicate with internal teams as well.
