Manager of Intake and SUD - Adult - CCBHC

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager, Intake and SUD to perform overall supervision of the Intake Department and Substance Use Disorder services. The manager will assist team members to provide exceptional service to clients by achieving all agency standards. Responsible for overseeing the Open Access model of intakes, supervising clinicians and supporting staff completing intakes, works closely with the Manager of the Adult Outpaient Therapy services and provides coverage as needed.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes weekly clinical supervision for the team and each team member.
  • Provides weekly group supervision during team meetings.
  • Assures that services being provided are appropriate to the client’s needs and adheres to evidence based practices.
  • Monitors team members to help them achieve productivity, deliver quality services and record services in a timely manner.
  • Works with team members to ensure services are provided to clients in a timely manner.
  • Participates in treatment planning for adults and familes in services
  • Coordinates with staff and hospitals when persons are discharged from hospitals to ensure timely intakes are provided
  • Provides supervision and support to staff who conduct assessments, referral and outpatient substance use disorder services.
  • Works with the Senior Director to develop and implement Open Access Model and delivery of Substance Use Disorder Services.
  • Provides live supervision for clinicians on a minimum of a quarterly basis.
  • Serves as crisis support to clients as needed.
  • Represent Wyandot Center on appropriate agency committees.
  • Participates in the interview process for potential therapists.
  • Participates in 10 hours of management training per calendar year.
 
Position Requirements
  • Licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, and possess minimum academic credentials for Medicaid outpatient reimbursement for practice at the Center. Preference given to persons with an advanced clinical licensure and/or dual licensure as a Licensed Master’s Level Addiction Counselr (LMAC).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Display organizational and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in providing therapeutic interventions (including behavioral health therapy), diagnosis and evaluation and conducing admissions into services
  • Ability to initiate and develop solutions in clinical, personnel, and other job related situations.
  • Ability to provide appropriate clinical and personnel supervision.
  • Ability to provide direction for programming and planning purposes.

Hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 and to 5:00 pm  
Pay Range $50,000-54,000
