Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Experiment Environment Configuration Manager to support Fires Battle Lab (FBL) in performing Army and Joint directed experimentation, demonstrations, analysis and supporting Institutional training. The Fires Battle Lab (FBL) conducts experimentation to support AFC and FCoE research on the Army's Campaign of Learning to identify promising Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery warfighting and organizational concepts, systems and munitions. The FBL will conduct a series of experiments to refine Fires and Air Defense warfighting organizations tactics, techniques and procedures as they relate to Army, Joint and coalition operations. This support will be performed on Fort Sill, OK.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Shall provide accurate configuration management of Fires Battle Lab simulations to include:
    • The cataloging and distribution of FireSim XXI, EADSIM and RTOS Simulation Change Requests (SCRs), documentation and archival of completed SCR actions.
    • The maintenance of the FireSim XXI Configuration Control Board (CCB) database.
    • The cataloging and distribution of FireSim XXI software and tools to users.
  • Shall receive SCRs for the FireSim XXI, EADSIM and RTOS simulations from multiple organizations and users, provide technical assistance to ensure that SCRs are clearly defined and accurately documented, and provide liaison to inform users of SCR status.
  • Shall conduct FireSim XXI database development and administration in support of all simulation domains.
  • Shall maintain proficient operator-level knowledge of FireSim XXI to support to experiments, exercises, fielding's, and demonstrations conducted or supported by the Fires Battle Lab.
  • Shall participate in the simulation debugging process when data is a suspect problem source.
  • Shall provide technical and database administrative support for future/current force concept experiments, and test bed demonstrations conducted or supported by the Fires Battle Lab.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field with two years of experience directly related to software configuration management.
  • Must have two years of experience performing configuration management, experimentation order of battle databases, database debugging and testing, and database storage for Fire's simulations.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is Required

Location: Fort Sill, OK

Travel: Some Travel will be required
