Data Analyst

Description

Data Analyst will assist with collecting data from multiple sources. This position will analyze complex company data sets based on a set criterion. The Data Analyst will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data, then process, design, and present their findings in a simplified format to the companies interested parties.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the VP of Data Analytics to develop and implement data visualizations, dashboards, reports and analytics for internal and external consumers.
  • Create the necessary dashboards and reports and provide insights into emerging patterns and trends.
  • Assist with the calculation of commissions for internal Sales personal.
  • Aid in preparation of transaction sales of assets to partners.

Supervision and Training

  • Supervise and train existing and new staff on all processes and tools utilized by the Department.
  • Ensure the entire Asset Management team remains up to date on market trends and asset knowledge.

Reporting & Research

  • Track equipment inventory and sale proceeds.
  • Effectively use and leverage AmurEF's IT system capabilities and applications (Aspire, BIDW, MS Office, etc.)
  • Develop and enhance internal asset management, value and recovery models.
  • Research equipment and industry trends and valuations across all asset classes financed by AmurEF.
  • Ensure process coordination and effective day-to-day cooperation and information sharing with other Departments (i.e., Credit, Legal, Finance and Originations).

Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or work equivalence with 5 years' experience in the field
  • Comfortable multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel skills preferred and knowledge with all other Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience using a report writing system (Tableau, Crystal Reports, etc)
  • Demonstrates analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a multitude of tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be highly motivated.
  • Strong critical reasoning skills.
