Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Certified Medical Assistant  Description The CMA will apply professional clinical theory and render services consistent with the scope of practice for CMA’s within the State of North Carolina.  Will perform a wide variety of duties relating to assisting the provider with patient care in an office type setting.     Position Requirements Desirable Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Current Certification of Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) – required. Excellent computer skills – Microsoft word, excel, and email – electronic medical record documentation preferred. Data collecting and entering skills will be essential. Strong knowledge of medical terms and pharmacology. Preferred knowledge of standard office procedures. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Excellent communicate skills, written and oral. Professional image in attitude and appearance.  Maintain a professional, clean and neat appearance.
