The purpose of this position is to create and use leads for the purpose of selling curriculum. This position will only last for the season of July 6 to September 10, at which time employment will cease. Interviews will begin after May 15 when the position closes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Make outbound calls based on previously gathered leads of new potential users with the goal of closing a sale and converting a customer. Work to create new leads of potential curriculum customers. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.   Position Requirements Minimum Training and Experience Required Must be proficient in English. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. Experience in providing customer service and personal service, which includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction. Experience in outbound sales is preferred. Must be self-driven, teachable, able to work with teams, and able to handle rejection. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience with office equipment (specifically computer, filing cabinets, multi-line switchboard, scanner, fax machine, printer). Knowledge of administrative procedures such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of basic math skills.
