Job Summary

Reconciles and maintains all daily and monthly balancing for all investor relationships, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHLB Xtra, & FHLB MPF. Completes all reconciliations within investor allotted timeframe. Investigates and resolves all exception items. Works with investors on audits of our portfolio and maintains all forms and procedures related to investor reporting. Completes all other loan servicing functions as time permits or assistance is needed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reconciles, balances, and remits payment daily to the investor for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHLB Xtra & FHLB MPF.

• Reconciles, balances, and remits payment if necessary for the monthly reporting of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB Xtra & FHLB MPF.

• Reconciles and reports monthly default and delinquency of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB Xtra & FHLB MPF loans.

• Balances the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB checking accounts on a monthly basis.

• Investigates and resolves all exceptions/issues within allotted timeframe related to investor balancing for all investors.

• Delivers all sold loans to the investors creating servicing record to pass through.

• Accurately processes all buyback loans from the investor by remitting payment to the investor, working with the customer, analyzing the note to determine proper loan type to board the loan onto Jack Henry.

• Researches and solves all issues related to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB audits.

• Participates in dissemination of new and updated investor standards related to the above functions.

• Drafts and maintains all procedures related to the above job functions.

• Tests and prepares for all upcoming changes in reporting for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB.

• All other Loan Servicing Specialist duties.

 

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient computer knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.

 

Other

• Position is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, with OT as needed.

• The position may have the ability to work remotely after a 6-8 week training period onsite.
