SUMMARY
Supervises and directs the Soft Count Room Department to ensure compliance of department and company policies and procedures. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the MCNC policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Supervises soft count team staff to ensure all work is carried out to the required standards and adherence to all gaming regulations (Tribal and Federal) as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
Ensures all staff is scheduled appropriately to meet the operational requirements of the department.
Responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and recording of gaming results and overall operation and maintenance of the Soft Count Room and the currency counting equipment.
Ensures that the transfer from count to vault follows all internal control standards.
Concisely communicates variances and other problems, ideas and concerns to management on a timely basis.
Ensure local jurisdiction and gaming laws (Federal and Tribal) as well as internal controls, policies and procedures are adhered to, and assists auditors as required
Operates with proficiency the computer and software programs for the count process, and can trouble shoot the currency equipment and kiosk machines.
Monitors supplies for the count room and makes Count Manager aware of supply needs.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with Count Manager and staff.
Responsible for transporting all team members to the properties to conduct pull and count by utilizing company issued vehicle.
