We are seeking applicants for a Drafting Technician at our Jefferson City location. This position may be full-time or a part-time internship, depending on the candidate selected. Standard hours for this department are Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:
- Use computer related design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.
- Work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
- Make final sketch of proposed drawing, check dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Draft detailed multi-view drawings of products and structures.
- Design parts and products based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers.
- Work closely with all production departments to ensure the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
- Work from customer drawings, internal drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
