Human Resources Representative 

Description

Assist in the planning and coordinating of Human Resources activities and providing daily support to all functional areas with the plant.

Under the leadership of the HR Manager, be a vital source of human resources information, fostering positive employee relations and answering any questions employees may have.

Assist in the recruitment/onboarding process including interviews, verifying work-history and references, and new hire orientations.

Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed.

Assist with the management and documentation of leaves (S&A, WC and FMLA) including investigation and follow-up.

Support various HR projects as assigned.

Timely and accurate processing of hourly payroll on a weekly basis which includes, but is not limited to:

Reviewing all timecards for errors, missing punches, approvals, etc.

Enter and edit data related to new hires, terminations, department transfers, leaves of absences in the payroll system to meet strict deadlines

Communicate with supervisors for corrections or clarification

Review payroll reports for compliance, reconciliation and accuracy.

 
Position Requirements

REQUIRED

3-5 years of experience working in a similar role.

Minimum 3 years of experience with a payroll system

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Solid time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

PREFERRED

Experience with ADP

Experience in a manufacturing facility

 
Education Requirement High School Diploma and/or GED required; Associates Degree (Preferred)
