CPA **Signing Bonus**

This position is eligible for a $300 signing bonus that will be paid out as $150 after 3 months of employment and $150 after 6 months of employment with the company

Cambridge Management is hiring for an experienced CPA, preferably with experience in the Affordable Housing Industry. The CPA is responsible for financial statement preparation and review, audit coordination, internal and external financial reporting, non-routine transaction processing and tax service coordination.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee internal/external financial reporting deadlines
  • Financial statement review and approval
  • Internal controls/procedures documentation and analysis
  • Financial statement preparation, review, and analysis
  • Maintenance of the accounting information system and general ledger
  • Review of internal controls and process inefficiencies
  • Accounts payable and cash management
  • Coaching of accounting team members concerning technical accounting issues
  • Tax administration and research
  • Contract analysis and review
  • Interface with external accountants and auditors
  • Interface with regulatory agencies
  • Provide a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Consult the executive management team
  • Special project management as assigned by ownership and the executive management team

Position Requirements

Required Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as a CPA or CPA candidate
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in the Affordable Housing Industry, including HUD housing preferred
  • Real Page/One-Site experience strongly preferred.
