Share Email Opening Title Training Coordinator - Trauma-Informed Care (Alive & Thrive)  Description Wyandot BHN is seeking a part-time Training Coordinator to coordinate the training logisitics for the Alive & Thrive faciliators serving the community of Wyandotte County. Essentail Job Duties: Coordinate, schedule, and provide materials for Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) training that Alive & Thrive facilitators give to non-profit organizations, government agencies, educators, health-care providers, and community members in Wyandotte County. Give TIC trainings as needed. Participate in local and regional professional development partnerships related to TIC. Document program process, services provided, and participant data collection. Conduct presentations regarding the Bridge Program and agency services to community organizations, agencies through meetings, speaking engagements, distribution of materials, and other appropriate media. Assist in the development and preparation of statistical data and reports to be submitted to funding sources, legislators, governmental agencies, and other concerned individuals. Assist in the development and editing of TIC training materials.   Position Requirements Minimum of bachelor’s degree in social services, behavioral health, or related field; OR: two years of mental health or TIC training experience; OR: combination of above degree and some training experience. Demonstrated familiarity with and commitment to basic TIC concepts and prinicples. Knowledge & experience with trauma informed care within communities affected by poverty, housing insecurity, substance abuse, sexual and domestic abuse, racism, and incarceration Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in MicroSoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) Comfortable working with diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic populations Ability to work independently and as part of a team   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Shift Days   Hours Hours are between 8 - 5, Monday - Friday, with flexibility needed to attend after hours events or meetings   Pay Range $18 per hour   Division Wyandot Behavioral Health Network, Inc.   Number of Openings 1   About the Organization Wyandot Behavioral Health Network (Wyandot BHN) is a family of organizations serving the behavioral health needs of Wyandotte County, Kansas, and beyond.
