Description

L7 Informatics (L7) is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join and their growing Customer Solutions team as they roll out the revolutionary Enterprise Science Platform (ESP) to an expanding market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy and roadmap for products that are both highly technical and elegantly supportive of complex user workflows;
  • Work with Engineering to plan, prioritize, and execute on launching new features rapidly;
  • Work closely with our customers to understand how they are using our product, their needs, and pain points;
  • Partner with our Customer Operations organization to enable complex rollouts at our customers;
  • Assist in development of proposal with Customer Solutions and Sales and Marketing that resonate in a rapidly evolving market;[RZ1]
  • Review implementation-specific configurations and customizations to identify enhancements to the core product to better support customers;
  • Consult with customers to ensure best practice translation of their workflows;
  • Coordinate with engineering to troubleshoot escalated customer issues;
  • Author customer success case studies;
  • Support sales and marketing in demonstrating software capabilities to potential customers (while answering technical questions, etc.);
  • Contribute to L7's standard/core content library and SDK;
  • Contribute to L7's customer implementation DevOps improvements and maintenance;
  • Translate customer needs into new core product software requirements.

 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant field, such as computational biology, bioinformatics, molecular genetics, etc.;
  • Demonstrated success in product management role within a life sciences software company with related experience on workflow, analytics, or other technically complex enterprise products;
  • Possess an intense desire to understand, question, and improve the experiences for users of software products;
  • Strong problem solver that can gather, prioritize, and drive execution on customer and business requirements, turning them into successful product strategies;
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role, including interfacing directly with highly technical stakeholders within customer organizations;
  • Data-influenced, and can identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data;
  • Excellent at listening to others and articulating ideas in written and oral form;
  • Possess influential leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships with customers, direct reports, company peers, and executives;
  • Background in both computational and wet-lab sciences;
  • Previous experience with distributed version control tools;
  • Comfortable working from the Linux command line, especially BASH;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
