We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will: Provide project management, project supervision, planning, organizing and supervising designers / drafters and technicians. Attend meetings and provide professional recommendations as requested. Professionally interface with customers and vendors. Maintain superior customer relations and communications Provide quality products within the project and technical requirements. Develop builder’s specifications and oversee boat builder’s execution of those specification. Demonstrate the ability to work in an open communicative environment, and be able to adapt to changing design requirements rapidly. Prepare engineering sketches to help designers and drafters to complete engineering drawings. Check and review documents produced by other members of the department for completion and accuracy. Develop and apply advance methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems. Plan, conduct, and evaluate projects or moderate phases of significant projects, coordinating efforts with engineers and staff. Develop and perform formal technical reports summarizing analyses, calculations and engineering studies. Provide in-client customer (Government Lead of an Acquisition Engineering Agent team) with project support, field engineering and detailed design and system’s engineering for United States Navy small boats. Provide engineering calculations, technical solutions and professional guidance for boats and crafts systems and operations related issues.
