Bonnie Brae, a Special Education School and Residential Treatment Facility for at risk youth, is currently seeking a full time Clinician. The Clinician will be responsible for preparing psychosocial assessments of individuals and families as well as serving as primary therapist in providing treatment. Lead individual, family and/or focused group therapy. Present cases for review at staff meetings and inter-agency staffing. Work within a theoretical orientation in a multidiscipline team approach. The Clinician will also be required to work evening hours. A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and LAC, LSW, LCSW or LPC required. Two years post Masters experience with adolescents and families very desirable.
Candidate will possess the following:
Education/License Requirements:
• Masters in Social Work or Counseling required.
• LAC, LSW, LCSW or LPC license required.
• Two years post Masters specialized institute training desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• Valid Driver’s license – not currently suspended or suspended over the last three years due to accidents or moving violations.
• Two years post Masters specialized institute training desirable. Two years residential treatment experience desirable.
• Evening hours required as dictated by program needs.
• One weekend per month required.
