Specialist, Metadata

Description

The Academy’s Film Archive is seeking a Specialist to assist the Cataloging and Public Access departments on the Cultural Equity and Inclusion Project. The Cultural Equity and Inclusion Project is part of the Archive’s efforts to help identify and uncover the social, gender, ethnic, accessibility, and cultural gaps of more than 100 years of film preservation and collecting, helping to foster a more inclusive American film history from multiple perspectives.

The core mission of the project is to identify films and filmmakers that are relevant to underrepresented communities, helping us understand what holdings we have and collections we should acquire.
