Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Six (6) months of alcohol or food service experience.
  2. Effective communication-good auditory acuity, responds to questions and provides information.
  3. Demonstrates interpersonal skills and abilities that promote positive guest services.
  4. Physically able to: stand or walk for long periods of time; performs routine bending and lifting of product up to 20lbs.; performs repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasionally lifts and maneuvers up to 50lbs; and works in a varied (hot, cold, smoky) environment.
  5. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate and an OLCC certificate within 30 days of employment.
  7. Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance.
  8. Must be at least 21 years old.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Cocktail serving or bartending experience within the past two years.

 

 
Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving food and drinks to guests in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and generating return business. This position will also be responsible for maintaining pour costs, inventory product, cleanliness of work area, cash handling, customer service, and responsible for alcohol service. May be scheduled in the Sports Bar or Lobby Bar.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  2. Efficiently takes drink orders and enters in POS system and handles payment methods appropriately.
  3. Prepares food and drink orders and promptly delivers order to guest.
  4. Must be able to mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks as requested.
  5. Responsible for pouring and mixing alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  6. Maintains a neat and clean station on continual basis.
  7. Ensures that alcoholic beverages are being served in a responsible manner.
  8. Reports any health standards or safety needs immediately to Supervisor.
  9. Keeps Supervisor apprised of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs.
  10. Maintains daily pour cost, inventory and cleanliness of work area.
  11. Stocks beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers, and dry goods.
  12. Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
  13. Adheres to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, and department procedures.
  14. Promotes internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Salary $12.00-$16.00 Hourly +TIPS
