Share Email Opening Title Technology Scout   Description POSITION SUMMARY: Integrated within the current global technology development organization of MFS, the overarching goal is to drive the ability of the company to identify and complete decision-quality assessments of technology and business growth opportunities both within and adjacent to its current scope of business in line with strategic plans. The scope of the scouting function will include interactions with customers, market analysts, potential technology partners, universities, industry consortia, and potential M&A candidates who have core capabilities that could complement or inform the business and strategic plans of MFS. Additionally, the Technology Scout will act as the leader of the external Technology Advisory Board, and will be responsible for coordinating meetings and outcomes.   Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree in Natural or Engineering Science (i.e. Chemisty, Chemical Engineering, Material Science) and ten or more years of direct industrial experience in that field. Must have direct experience in the development of quality business cases. Ph.D. in Natural or Engineering Science and direct experience in a technical scouting function are desired.
