Email Opening Title Games QA Lead  Full-Time/Part-Time Independent Contractor   Location Groove Jones LLC   Description Groove Jones, a world-renowned and award-winning studio specializing in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Interactive Entertainment technologies, is currently seeking a person to take on the role as QA Lead. This is a contract or possible full-time position located in Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities: Design and lead QA processes for each software project - working with developer(s) and producer to come up with testing plans that make sense for that project Act as liaison between QA, Production and Development teams to develop a thorough understanding of project objectives and delivery platforms Test to ensure experiences are developed with the highest standards of quality Anticipate and communicate risks areas throughout the project’s life cycle Plan, develop and execute test coverage for multiple platforms. Assist with the development and deployment of QA tools or automated testing procedures   Position Requirements   Qualifications The position requires a dynamic person that thrives in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate would have an excellent hands-on experience and understanding of digital, mobile and interactive space technologies. Good understanding of test processes Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge Able to follow direction and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner Strong verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills, ability to remain focused Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Games Industry experience preferred 2+ Years experience in software testing Bachelor's Degree or equivalent desirable Experience in testing VR and AR   About the Organization About Groove Jones Culture Groove Jones is more than just a creative and technology studio.
