Your role in helping us shape the future: U.S. News & World Report is hiring an Account Manager in our New York office to support the growing advertising team. The Account Manager reports into the Director of Ad Operations and is responsible for ensuring the success of online campaigns from implementation to final delivery. Successful candidates for this position can anticipate a collaborative environment where strategies are discussed with other members of the Account Management team, Account Executives, Tech and clients. This role also allows for you to manage your own portfolio of accounts within U.S. News’ Education and Pharma verticals. We are seeking an inquisitive candidate that has a positive, energetic and open demeanor with the ability to self-start with an interest in digital advertising. Are you up to the challenge? Implementation and day to day management of online advertising campaigns Responsible for set up of campaign and order management Monitor daily campaign performance and seek opportunities for optimization and performance improvement against advertiser KPI’s Provide clients with regular campaign reporting Create post-campaign summary reporting and overall analysis Manage and be accountable for billing reconciliation and reporting Develop and maintain close client relationships which includes thoroughly preparing for client calls and meetings   Position Requirements You should definitely have: 1-3 years and or entry level experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in interactive advertising industry experience required Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task—must be able to juggle multiple projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Provide an exceptional level of service to maintain client satisfaction Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to detail Excellent time management skills Strong understanding of Ad Manager 360, 3rd party ad serving, rich media Familiarity with IAS, ComScore, and DoubleVerify. Understand how to pull reporting from these platforms and speak to findings clearly and concise as it relates to client KPIs Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills It would be nice if you had: Understanding of Placements.IO, Nativo, Live Intent, and Permutive What it’s like to work with us: Talent is our best asset!
