Our team is focused on Core Values - Connected, Inquisitive, Accountable, Authentic - that motivate us to do great work and Inspire Direct Results.   Description Our Opportunity Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Finance is in a leadership role and responsible for directing the financial activities of the organization that consist of Accounting & Finance and Risk Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees and directs accounting, financial management, treasury, budgeting, audit, tax (sales & income), and purchasing activities (excluding technology). Oversees the monthly closing process, including the timely preparation of the monthly management reporting package. Directs the annual audit/review process. Supports the annual preparation of the agency’s corporate tax return working with tax advisors. Directs the Accounting Staff in providing and directing best practices and procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to assure adequate accounting and financial controls. Proactively manages the company’s working capital to maximize the availability of cash. This includes receivable management and payable/vendor management. Oversees and directs best practices in the client billing area. Directs and coordinates the annual operating and capital budget processes. Manages and monitors expenses and directs monthly forecasting and cash flow reporting. Manages and procures corporate insurance program – includes: E&O, D&O, P&C, GL, Auto, Cyber, and Umbrella coverages. Manages the relationships with outside accounting firm, legal advisors, bank, and insurance broker. Manages activities relating to shareholders affairs such as estimated taxes, distributions, and Key Man insurance. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required with 10+ years related experience. MBA is a plus, but not required. Related experience in a professional services business is a plus. Have thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and procedures and GAAP. Excellent organization and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects including execution within given timelines, specifications and budgets. Inspires and leads others towards high levels of performance.
