Description

 

General Functions

Perform a variety of accounting and audit tasks in a timely and accurate manner, function effectively as part of an accounting team by demonstrating the ability and willingness to achieve department goals while remaining in compliance with all policies and procedures.

 

Essential Functions

 

Manage cash receipts from a variety of locations and in a variety of reporting formats.

Perform and/or manage bank reconciliation process for all bank accounts.

Manage petty cash reimbursement process and reconciliations.

Perform numerous GL tasks including but not limited to: generating and monitoring monthly recurring entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Submit inter-company to AP for monthly reimbursement when needed.

Perform and or manage weekly revenue comparisons in a timely manner.

Balance fishing license accounts on a monthly basis.

Ensure bad checks are processed for collection in a timely manner.

Train as back up to company accounting tasks as required.

Ensure that procedures are compliant and updated at all times.

Do adjusting journal entries on all companies with no physical monthly inventory.

Assist with and perform any and all audit functions.

Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all data information related to specific job assignments and Basecamp Hospitality in general.

Routinely assist with answering the phones.

Have a “go-getter” attitude combined with an initiative to improve current processes in place.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 

High school education.

Minimum 2 years accounting experience, which includes GL entries, bank reconciliations, petty cash and cash receipts.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
 
Preferred:
 

Some college level accounting education.

AR, AP and or payroll experience.

Experience with NetSuite.
 
Be a willing member of Basecamp Hospitality performing all the duties and functions as assigned to the best of his/her ability.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school education.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting experience, which includes G.L. entries, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and cash receipts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
