The Visitation Program Supervisor oversees the foster care social workers and the cases assigned to them. He or she is responsible for documentation and necessary paperwork related to the supervision of the foster care social workers. The supervisor will maintain contact with foster families, monitoring compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Visitation Program Supervisor will ensure that their supervisees have received all necessary orientation and training. He or she will be involved in program development and ensure that positive inter-agency communication is maintained. The Visitation Program Supervisor will develop relationships with outside agencies.   Position Requirements MSW required. A minimum of two year’s experience in case work and experience working in the child welfare system is highly preferred. Experience in performing the functions of this position description, particularly the essential duties is also highly preferred. Access to a personal car to be used for transportation purposes during work. Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, car insurance, and have a safe driving record.
