Avidyne Corporation is leveraging its market-leader position in the design and manufacturing of integrated avionics systems to develop cutting-edge technology for emerging electric vertical takeoff and lift aircraft, autonomous air cargo delivery and simplified operation vehicles. We have a 27-year history of developing a full line of communication, navigation, flight displays, surveillance, and flight control systems.
Avidyne is seeking Systems Engineers that have experience or interest in developing the next generation of aviation products and features. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic engineers that have experience or interest in one of more of the following technical areas:
Safety-critical system development
Aviation based products
DO-178B or DO-178C
Requirement definition using requirement management systems
Requirement driven test development
Define software protocols and interfaces between various avionics systems
Define and capture system features, functions, and user interface design goals
Evaluate system failure modes, reliability, and overall system safety
Help to refine and shape Avidyne’s formal, DO-178B/C, software development lifecycle
Author specifications, requirements, and test procedures for complex aviation system software.
Write verification plans, procedures, and reports.
Develop tools to aid in the development of Avidyne’s systems and features
Evaluate technical standards and FAA guidance to shape system requirements, designs and verification strategies.
Help to ensure our products satisfy customer, regulatory, and internal requirements
Coordinate with Avidyne’s Service and Manufacturing groups to capture Design for Service and Design for Manufacturability requirements.
Conduct software and system verification activities.
Analyze 3rd party aviation products in order to guide integration strategies.
