Your New Role:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Associate I. In this role you will work with a team to manufacture tablets and other solid oral dosage products at the Gainesville, GA site.  You will be responsible for prepping the materials and manufacturing rooms for production and manufacturing various products.

This is a great entry level manufacturing role that will provide you with the training needed to be successful and start a career!

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Receive and review Batch Records.
  • Weigh and stage raw materials to be used in production.
  • Prepare solutions and suspensions.
  • Apply appropriate bead coatings.
  • Dry and screen beads.
  • Seal and store the product.
  • Operate, clean, and set-up processing equipment.
  • Collect waste and clean the manufacturing rooms and equipment after use.
  • Complete all required documentation.
 
Position Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • A Minimum education level of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or technical experience preferred.
  • GA Work Ready Certificate – Bronze Level.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must have corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or better bilaterally. Must be able to pass color/contrast testing passing 9 of 12 elements and must be able to pass a peripheral assessment at 80º or better.
  • Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and regularly be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a respirator (Bullard, 3M) for extended periods of time.
  • You must  have the ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
  • You must be able to read, comprehend write and complete documentation as well as follow multistep instructions.
  • Must be able to solve problems that require one or two operations, solve problems that require simple ratios and fractions and arrange problem information into the right order before performing the calculations (i.e., selecting what information needs to be added before dividing the sum).

These projects span pre-Investigational New Drug (IND) development to commercial manufacturing and packaging for a wide range of therapeutic dosage forms. We provide industry leading support for small molecule therapeutic development, end-to-end regulatory support, clinical and commercial manufacturing, aseptic fill/finish, lyophilization, packaging and logistics services to the global pharmaceutical market. We do all of this in our best-in-class facilities in San Diego, California and Gainesville, Georgia.
