Share Email Opening Title Director of Purchased Referred Care - 4219  Description Position Summary: This position provides leadership in managing, coordinating, facilitating, and assessing the Purchased Referred Care of Tohono O’odham Nation Health Care. Incumbent provides operational direction and oversight, including coordination and distribution of workload. Scope of Work: This position is located within the Tohono O’odham Nation Health Care (TONHC) Hospital and Clinics Purchased Referred Care (PRC). The incumbent will serve as the Director of Purchased Referred Care and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: „h Education: Baccalaureate or higher degree from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. „h Registration: Applicants must have active, current and unrestricted license as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. „h Five (5) years’ work experience in the nursing field or in Purchased Referred Care. „h Two (2) years supervisory experience. Licenses, Certifications, Special Requirements: „h Must have certifications in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid upon hire. „h Upon recommendation for hire a criminal background and fingerprint check is required to determine suitability for hire. „h Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license, (no DUIs or major traffic citations within the last three years). „h Must submit a 39-month driving record with the employment application. „h Must meet the Tohono O’odham Nation tribal employer’s insurance requirements to receive a driver’s permit to operate program vehicles. „h Based on the department’s needs, incumbents may be required to demonstrate fluency in both the Tohono O’odham Language and English as a condition of employment.   Location Sells   Open Date 2/15/2021   Close Date   About the Organization The Tohono O'odham Nation is a federally-recognized tribe that includes approximately 28,000 members occupying tribal lands in Southwestern Arizona.
