You don’t mind working “behind the scenes” with limited customer contact, yet not afraid to pick up the phone to follow up with a customer when needed. You enjoy creating relationships – this would be mainly with our Home Lenders. You are easy to get along with and can work well in a team – we encourage cross training and a “can do” attitude. You can work fast but are accurate with a high attention to detail. Technology does not scare you and you are comfortable navigating loan origination platforms and are very organized. Key Duties Responsible for daily processing of home loan applications for refinance and purchase transactions for conventional loans such as Fannie, Freddie, vacant land, HELOC, Home Equity loans, renewals, construction, and government loans such as Rural Development, FHA, VA, and WHEDA. Understands underwriting conditions and obtains documentation to satisfy conditions.         Ensures consistent, accurate and timely mortgage loan application processing. Orders appraisals, title work, verification of employment, tax transcripts, flood certificates, loan payoffs, and private mortgage insurance. Monitors and maintains accurate investor and portfolio in-process pipelines, and uploads documents through investor portals. Responsible for compliance, accuracy and integrity of LOS as it relates to all loan processing activities and supporting documentation. Works with mortgage sales and operational staff to continually improve efficiencies in the mortgage processes. Provides support to the other areas of home loan operations as needed. Creates new procedures and updates existing procedures and checklists. Education/Experience 2-5 years of professional experience in the industry. Prior experience with Encompass a plus. Schedule Position is 40 hours per week with overtime as needed during peak times. Most team members work hours varying 7am-6pm to support our bank locations throughout WI & MI.
