Manager of Outpatient Therapy - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager to join our Youth Outpatient Therapy team. The Manager will be responsible for overall supervision of Outpatient Therapy and Contract Therapists. Will assist team members to provide exceptional service to youth and families by achieving all agency standards. Responsible for processing therapy referrals for youth, manage open access intake assignments, and provide Intake assessments and diagnosis for individuals entering PACES Services.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes weekly clinical supervision for the team and each team member.
  • Provides weekly group supervision during team meetings.
  • Assures that services being provided are appropriate to the client’s needs and adheres to evidence based practices.
  • Monitors team members to help them achieve productivity, deliver quality services and record services in a timely manner.
  • Receives and monitors therapy referrals & assigns to therapist accordingly.
  • Participates in treatment & discharge planning for children in PACES services, and discharge planning for those discharged from state hospital, JJA, acute hospitalization or PRTF.
  • Provides live supervision for clinicians on a minimum of a quarterly basis.
  • Serves as crisis support to therapy clients as needed.
  • Represent PACES on appropriate agency committees.
  • Coordinates and monitors Medicaid waiver services.
  • Participates in the interview process for potential therapist.
  • Participates in 10 hours of management training per calendar year.
  • Completes walk-in intakes when needed.
 
Position Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, and possess minimum academic credentials for Medicaid outpatient reimbursement for practice at PACES.
  • Familiarity with evidence based practices for treatment needs of SED youth and their families.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Display organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to initiate and develop solutions in clinical, personnel, and other job related situations.
  • Ability to provide appropriate clinical and personnel supervision.
  • Ability to provide direction for programming and planning purposes.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
 
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Shift Days  
Hours Mondays-Fridays, 8am-5pm  
Pay Range $47k-53k
