Monitors and ensures the safety of patrons, employees and vendors and protect the assets of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation via closed circuit television. Receives, dispatches, records and maintains communications via radio and telephone with security officers, Emergency Responders, employees and patrons as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Monitor indoor and outdoor activities at Muscogee (Creek) Nation River Spirit via security cameras.
Receive, monitor and dispatch radio communication traffic.
Employ correct usage of 10-Codes, phonetic alphabet and efficient message construction for outgoing/incoming radio transmissions, and speaks clearly and in a manner that is easy to understand.
Notify appropriate emergency personnel in the event of an emergency.
Remain calm and speak in a professional and authoritative manner when dealing with telephone situations that may include upset or hostile individuals.
Must follow all policies and procedures set forth by the Office of Public Gaming, Creek Nation Casino Employee Handbook and Security.
Relay pertinent information (incidents, complaints or personnel problems) that occur on his/her shift to the supervisor.
Distribute incident reports and other pertinent information to intended parties.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Muscogee (Creek) Nation River Spirit employees.
Works effectively in a confined area, closely with others and in a mutually supportive and compatible fashion; maintain concentration despite distractions or interruptions; remain calm and courteous under stressful or evolving situations.
Monitor weather radio as required and notify appropriate personnel about impending weather situations.
Prioritize and handle efficiently, effectively, and simultaneously multiple tasks, including telephone, radios and monitoring cameras.
Complete and maintain various logs and forms including, but not limited to: Traffic Logs, Inventory Log, Call-in Log, Camera Log, Incident Report Log and Banishment Form/Log.
Utilize a variety of office equipment effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to, copy machine, computer, telephone, fax machine, camera monitors, and digital camera.
Search for information from various sources such as logs, records or files in order to respond requests, investigations and other searches for relevant security information, as needed.
Other duties or projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
HS Diploma or GED equivalent; and/or combination of education & experience.
EXPERIENCE
Class II or III casino experience preferred. Knowledge and application of basic computer skills are required, including word processing, email, electronic time clock and use of copier/printer, etc
