About the team

This position is a part of the Manufacturing and Purchasing department—a critical business unit responsible for implementing and operating product production.  

In this role, you will

  • Work with the managers in Assembly and Test to ensure the production is progressing.
  • Liaises with Purchasing and may include some purchasing responsibilities.
  • Help with paperwork to get the shipments done.
  • Help with ERP implementation (projected to commence in March)
  • Help schedule the manufacturing floor.
  • Collects and assesses data about the production and team's performance.
  • Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet the predicted completion date.
  • Monitors project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule.
  • Troubleshoots problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions.
  • Organizes project paperwork, including purchase orders, and maintains records.
  • Prepare reports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency.

 

 
Position Requirements

Essential requirements for the role

  • Five years of demonstrated experience.
  • Superior proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of an ERP, Infor CSI preferred.
  • Decisiveness and Superior Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to Meet Deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Good Written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills.
  • Understanding of Business Operations.
  • Speed and Accuracy and Attention to Detail.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management.
