Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for researching, compiling, maintaining, and completing business license and individual licenses both new licenses and renewal, and customer permitting. Conducts day to day tracking and reporting functions pertaining to corporate licensure, individual licensure, and customer permitting. Works internally and externally obtaining all necessary documentation, testing, and certification required to ensure Company compliance with license and permitting requirements applicable within state, county, and city jurisdictions. Works with regulatory agencies to resolve license and permitting related issues and to understand and apply state, county, and city licensing and permitting changes. Coordinates with applicants, customers, state agencies, and the corporate licensing department to ensure timely and efficient license acquisition and renewal. Ensures compliance with organization policies and government regulations.

Training for all required duties will occur on-site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a proactive program of regulatory compliance.
  • Research on state, county, and city licensing and permitting requirements and changes.
  • Research and respond to notices from various licensing and permitting authorities.
  • Tracks and maintains employee licenses by processing both new applications and renewals (Entails fingerprinting, applying for license, scheduling testing, and contacting state agencies).
  • Maintains and processes the bond renewal for the Company, agencies and TPA's
  • Coordinate compliance with the field as they pertain to individual licensing certifications and customer permitting.
  • Communicate effectively with officials pertaining to compliance concerns.
  • Respond timely to inquiries and conduct all necessary research to resolve.
  • Analyze and investigate non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain and correct database information.
  • Setting up exam and preparatory training with outside vendors and facilitating the preparation and delivery of licensing;
  • Provide training and presentations as required.
  • Develop and update training material as needed.
  • Attend training sessions and participate in meetings throughout the year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

  • $14 - $16 Negotiable DOE

 
Position Requirements

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of administrative experience (HR experience preferred)

• Good verbal, organizational, and written communication skills

• Experienced with Outlook, Word and Excel functions

• Ability to work full time – Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
