Description

Residential Treatmeent Facility Clinician needed for full-time, temporary (12 week) assignment in Chester County.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of clinical services to include family, group, and individual therapy for assigned clients. Provides consultative services within the treatment team on clinical matters providing support and guidance to other team members, including direct care staff. Performs clinical assessments as required and participates in outcome initiatives.

Performs a variety of activities designed to facilitate the admissions process for assigned clients to include, but not limited to, gathering biopsychosocial information, identifying client strengths, identifying and assessing risk, and completing all required information for the computer system in a timely fashion.

Creates initial treatment plan to include measurable short-term objectives, measurable clinical goals, and specifying clinical strategies. Monitors and documents progress using monitoring tools at proscribed intervals.

Conducts individual, family, and group therapy according to organizational, program, and professional standards and protocols, documenting such in a timely, legible, articulate fashion.

Facilitates 30-day review processes (diagnosis, medication, treatment goals and objectives, clinical intervention strategies, discharge planning) for assigned clients. Prepares for reviews by generating data involving individual, group, and family sessions, as well as therapeutic home visits, results of assessments, and/or other areas of concern.

Schedules and facilitates interagency meetings to include notification of all involved parties, making recommendations, and satisfying organizational and funder documentation expectations and/or requirements. Facilitates therapeutic home visits (THVs) to include scheduling, discussing rules and expectations while on the visit, developing crisis plans, and documenting effectiveness/outcome of THVs.

Maintains compliance with all training/learning requirements and takes initiative in seeking opportunities for professional growth.

Position Requirements

PA LSW with a minimum of two years verified paid experience providing mental health treatment required. Previous clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare setting strongly preferred. Current clearances and physical with PPD required.
