Job Description: The Catapult Strategic Advisor serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Catapult Program Office and provides expert acquisition, technical, and program management oversight support for current (Catapult), developing, and/or future DTRA programs in various stages of planning and definition.   Position Requirements It is required that the Catapult Strategic Advisor has the following qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, scientific, business, or equivalent field. A minimum of five years of acquisition experience with at least three years in a program office. A minimum of three years of experience in DOD acquisition and life cycle management   Desired Skills: Experience implementing project management principles and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents, and tasks through completion. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience using official program documentation for managing acquisition programs in line with regulatory and legislative guidance (i.e., DoDD 5000.02). Experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical concepts. Position is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening, criminal background check, and verification of all employment and education.
