Job Description:

The Counter Improvised Threat Training and Operations Support SME shall lead the contractor team to assist DTRA-wide operations by coordinating, facilitating, and leading studies, assessments, research, and other such actions

 
Position Requirements

It is required that the Counter Improvised Threat Training and Operations Support SME has the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or business field.
  • A minimum of four years of experience working in support of or with the Government, DoD, Service, or Joint national security HQ staff or equivalent.

 

Desired Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or business field.
  • Experience and proficiency communicating highly technical topics effectively, using both written and oral communication. This includes experience effectively communicating for Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO)-level reviews.
  • Experience with complicated deployment processes and procedures.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with analytical research methods and techniques related to counterthreat training and operations that involves critical thinking skills and the evaluation of facts and information relative to the research being conducted.
  • Experience using problem-solving methodologies, lateral thinking, and logical reasoning

Position is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening, criminal background check, and verification of all employment and education. Applicant must be eligible for work in the United States with appropriate identification/documentation.
