Position Survey Field Technician  

Come and join our Survey Crew! We have a fulltime opening for a Survey Field Technician to join our Survey team in our Minneapolis, MN office.

Interested applicants currently in a survey program and with basic knowledge of survey principles are encouraged to apply! You will be a part of a quality survey crew under the direction of a Field Survey Crew Chief and will assist in the completion of field and drafting work to include boundary, topographical and construction surveys.


Position Requirements


While learning from and working with Land Surveying professionals, a Survey Field Technician will work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain. 

  • Moderate lifting, stake pounding and some hand excavation
  • Operation of field equipment
  • Working knowledge of survey instruments
  • Knowledge of Trimble data collectors, Total Stations and GPS receivers
  • Software comprehension of AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, GeoPak and general computer skills preferred.
