**This position is eligible for a $300 signing bonus that will be paid out as $150 after 3 months of employment and $150 after 6 months of employment with the company**

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Accountant to work with the Accounting Department Management Team on a wide variety of tasks, including financial statement preparation, financial reporting review and analysis, audit coordination, analysis of internal controls and processes, and general accounting staff support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for affordable and conventional multifamily apartment communities.
- Prepare and review adjusting journal entries and GL account reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Review, investigate, and correct, if needed, general ledger accounts in preparation for publishing financial reports.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
