Monkeypaw Productions is looking for an undergraduate or graduate intern interested in all areas of film and television production with a special passion for the horror and/or science fiction genres. The company is a relatively small company with many active projects. This allows for a broad range of exposure to all aspects of a production company and a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities. This may include reading scripts, writing coverage, research, and general office duties. The Summer 2021 internship will take place virtually due to Covid.   Position Requirements Responsibilities: Online research. Generating and/or maintaining spreadsheets. Script coverage. Transcription and logging dailies. Day-to-day office tasks that contribute to business operations. Other special projects as assigned by individual departments. Answering the door and welcoming visitors. Running errands - misc. deliveries and pick-ups Qualifications: Cover letter must include a description of your interest in genre, and a piece of film or TV you recently viewed, really enjoyed, and why. Must be graduating in 2021 or 2022. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous professional internship/work experience. Proficiency in Google docs and worksheets. Previous experience writing script coverage. Previous experience answering phones. Quick and eager learner with a “can-do” attitude. Hardworking, proactive and passionate individual. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
