Xperi is looking for a creative and determined intern to provide a real-world experience of marketing premium technology solutions to the entertainment industry (movies, gaming, and more), including its customers and consumers. Through the Xperi marketing internship experience, the intern will learn more about the following: How marketing at Xperi works About the DTS brand and other Xperi brands and solutions How DTS works with our partners to create amazing technology experiences How to contribute to a broader marketing team by creating operational processes and procedures which help improve team performance and campaign success.     Position Requirements Focus project: DTS Future Craft Masters In Marketing’s experience, the best internships have focus projects that the intern can own and that have a clear deliverable at the end. This gives the organization tangible value that carries on after the internship is over and gives the Intern a great story to share with future employers that shows the impact he/she made at the company. The focus project for this internship is the development and execution of a digital campaign to support the DTS Future Craft Masters program which focuses on introducing immersive audio to Gen Z creators by providing educational tools and resources to support workflow implementation, evangelizing the DTS:X Creator Suite and sharing best practices, tips and tricks for delivering a unique immersive content experience to consumers. Campaign development will include competitive analysis to help inform messaging and align efforts to industry standards. Reporting relationships/key contacts: Intern will report directly to co-leads Deston Bennett and Lauren Hansen. Deston and Lauren will be two of four mentors for interns during the duration of the internship, with support and day-to-day engagement. Deston and Lauren are responsible for easing/enabling intern’s integration into the Xperi marketing team and into Xperi overall. Deston and Lauren are also responsible for assigning tasks/priorities and managing the intern’s work directly. Loren Nielsen is the Xperi lead for the overall Academy Gold program. Loren will serve as the third mentor for the intern and will help with any integrations required between Xperi and the Academy Gold program. Christy Willingham, Director Integrated Marketing, will be the intern’s fourth mentor and is the department sponsor for the internship. Responsibilities: Intern responsibilities will include and not be limited to: Work remotely during the hours of 9a-5pm according to TBD schedule Participate in Marketing team meetings Report progress bi-weekly to Christy, listen to questions/feedback and respond Stay connected with Loren listening to her for guidance relative to Academy Gold and using her as a resource for career advice in general Working with Deston and Lauren to conceive, develop, and deliver on the assigned tasks/priorities and completion of Focus Project with presentation to the Integrated Marketing team Collaborate with the digital marketing team to promote and amplify DTS and/or select partner campaigns Participate and contribute to various DTS marketing projects and campaigns, lending a hand wherever the team needs it   Full-Time/Part-Time -unspecified-   Position DTS (part of Xperi Corporation) Integrated Marketing Intern - Summer 2021 (Gold Rising)   Location Los Angeles   About the Organization The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is a global community of more than 10,000 of the most accomplished artists, filmmakers and executives working in film.
