Share Email Opening Title Warehouse Manager  Category Logistics   Description LaForce has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Manager! This position is responsible for day-to-day planning and directing of shipping and receiving, warehousing and deliveries from our Green Bay location to fulfill commitments to our customers effectively. Primary Responsibilities: Manage warehouse and delivery operations including recruitment, training, performance management along with establishing and communicating goals Achieve a safe and professional warehouse and dock environment with proper inventory control. Responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision. Manage the scheduling and handling of incoming goods as well as the transportation of outbound products from production/warehouse site to contractors at jobsites; create and maintain delivery routes; ascertain how much freight to place on shipments, deploy truck drivers; utilize TMS system, monitor progress of shipments to ensure receipt. Obtains, analyzes and recommends delivery vehicle and equipment specifications, quotes, and procurement for essential department equipment. Coordinate periodic repairs and preventative maintenance for all delivery vehicles and equipment to minimize downtime and comply with DOT and other regulations. Qualifications: Minimum of an Associates Degree and 3 years supervisory experience. A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a warehouse/distribution environment required.
