Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level GIS Technician to join a well-established and growing team in our Burnsville office.

As a GIS Technician you will be providing support on a variety of GIS related projects for both internal and external clients. The position will primarily be responsible for assisting our team on municipal data gathering and mapping, data analysis, and map development.
Education and Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Computer Science or GIS related field from an accredited college or University
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS v10.x suite
- Experience with Geoprocessing within the ArcGIS environment
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere
- Must possess a valid driver’s license. Regional travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GIS as it relates to Local Government, Public Works and Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Knowledge of Trimble GPS devices
- Knowledge of developing automation within the ArcGIS environment using scripting languages such as Python.
