Therapist needed for full-time, temporary (12 weeks beginning in March) position in Mercer County.
Promote students' social, emotional and academic growth. Help student and family gain insight into their difficulties and to help facilitate change with the student and family by conducting individual counseling; conducting group counseling; conducting family counseling; providing crisis intervention counseling as needed to address emergent situations during the school day.
Maintain student's clinical file by recording attendance entries of treatment sessions, recording chronological entries of treatment sessions, updating relevant clinical information. Present cases in weekly individual supervision and use supervision for ongoing development of clinical skills and techniques. Support educational staff through clinical intervention and sharing of knowledge with educational staff. Attend staff meetings. Attend school-related functions as requested. Performs other appropriate duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor and Principal/Director of Education directly related to a good learning experience for the students.
