Description

George School, a co-ed, 9-12, Quaker boarding/day school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, has an opening for a History teacher starting the school year 2021-2022.

 
Position Requirements

George School seeks a full-time teacher of AP Human Geography starting the school year 2021-2022. An ability to teach a wide range of humanities and social science courses and experience teaching Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate curricula are preferred. Willingness to fulfill common boarding school duties, including coaching; the ability to work with a diverse student population; and commitment to the traditions and philosophy of a Quaker educational community and a style consistent with Quaker values are also important. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the energy to thrive within a fast-paced work environment, and he/she must possess a genuine appreciation of adolescents, a sense of humor, and the ability to work collaboratively.
