This is a remote Full-Time work from home position. We are looking for candidates based out of the Columbus, Ohio area.  Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm What You Will Be Doing: Reviewing charges submitted by clinicians for accuracy before submitting claim files Responsible for preparation and submission of claims Post payments in a timely manner Ensures billing rejections and denials are followed up on and resolved timely Focus on Accounts Receivables to ensure timely collection Verify Insurance coverage of patients Maintains and works to improve relationships with all contacts (patients, physician, third-party payors, and staff to achieve excellent customer service) Customizes billing policies and procedures for position Daily contact with clients and/or insurance companies on claim related issues and balances Research and resolve client billing problems or issues Works with patients to develop self-pay arrangements   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, some college coursework a plus 3-5 years’ experience in medical billing and collections Previous experience with benefit and eligibility verification Preferred Qualifications: Medical Coding certificate preferred Previous experience with primary care and/or mental health billing preferred Primary Care experience preferred At Boundless, we are building a world that realizes the potential of all people.
