Share Email Opening Title Cyber SME  Category Information Technology   Description We are seeking a Cybersecurity SME to support our corporate office located in Beavercreek, Ohio. The selected applicant can work either from the corporate office location, or remote/telework/virtual from any location within the state of Ohio. This position will require up to 20% travel to customer locations.   This position provides subject matter expertise in the provision of Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert support for certification and accreditation (C&A), DIACAP or RMF accreditation package and artifact generation to enable Authority to Operate (ATO) on AF networks.   Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: • Perform RMF activities leading to system RMF acceptance in support of the requirements of established DoD RMF guidance (DoDI 8510.01), CMMC analysis, accreditation, training, life cycle consulting, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-series Special Publications, which includes: o System categorization o Selecting security controls o Implementing security controls o Assessing security controls o Monitoring security controls o Documentation development, review, updates at each phase o Interaction with accepted certification data system • Provide analytical support for the development and submission of C&A documentation packages in compliance with the DIACAP or RMF requirements. • Apply knowledge of technology, analyze the security implications of systems and applications security, and provide recommendations to decision-makers and engineers, providing experience-based advice and assistance to facilitate C&A efforts. • Reviews position requirements and screens candidates. • Complies and analyzes business opportunity data. • Prepares reports for management review. • Business Development including assisting with proposal development. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned. • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. • Perform technical security guidance in all phases of system CMMC accreditation requirements ensuring they are coordinated and communicated across the participant activities. • Perform risk and vulnerability analysis, Cybersecurity vulnerability management compliance and reporting. • Ensure designs meet applicable security technical implementation guides (STIGs). • Research, interpret, and provide technical policy guidance pertinent to information and system security. • Provide guidance to Software Developers, Systems Engineers, and Operations staff on system security, Certification & Accreditation (C&A) issues, information security policy, and determine security issues and impacts. • Support the preparation, submission and maintenance of various RMF authorization artifacts, e.g., Trusted Facility Manuals, System Security Plans (SSP), Security Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Security Requirements Traceability Matrix (SRTM), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and other security related documentation. • Perform verification and validation and provide guidance on mitigating risks to systems. • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Requisition Category   Req Number INF-21-00001   Location Remote, OH   About the Organization Here at Sawdey Solution Services, an ISO 9001-14001 certified and CMMI-SVC v2 Level 3 appraised corporation, has built a nationwide and global footprint as a leading government contracting organization.
