Position Quality Assurance Engineer  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Location US - Headquarters Based in Austin Texas  
Description

Job Purpose:

To perform manual tests on L7 Informatics' software product Enterprise Science Platform (ESP) to ensure it meets quality requirements as well as customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual software quality assurance testing.
  • Verify and validate software content.
  • Perform diagnosis, documentation, and remediation of identified quality concerns.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of automated and manual software quality assurance systems, processes, and documentation.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs using JIRA.
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Participate in an agile environment.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related subject.
  • Two (2) + years of relevant experience in quality assurance.
  • Life science background/industry experience
  • Understanding of life science laboratory operations and needs.
  • Experience using agile/scrum process to develop software.
  • Knowledgeable of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Ability to learn complex technical application systems.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven internal and customer-facing environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
