Share Email Opening Title Logistics Analyst 4301  Description Responsibilities Include: Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third party warehousing. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures. Ensures legal compliance and provides import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions. Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment. Selects carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures and operational reports Preparation of commercial invoices and other shipping documents; coordinating paperwork/documentation for tariffs and customs regulations compliance. Calculating duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of goods exported and imported Be the liaison between agents, brokers, shippers, and warehouse facilities. Resolve customs delays; processing manufacturing affidavits, providing importers declarations, Census responses, etc. Following up on AES filings with freight forwarders and making applicable corrections as necessary. Maintaining the international shipping logs and files.   Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; with minimum 5 years direct related work experience in positions responsible for ITAR, EAR export licensing and compliance and foreign trade regulations; or equivalent combination of education and experience Background in export/import regulations (ITAR, EAR, FTR), Compliance programs, Export jurisdiction and classifications, export licensing and license exemptions/exceptions, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), Commodity Jurisdiction Classification, Technology Control Plans, and international shipping documentation requirements.
