Title: Director, Business Development
The Director, Business Development is responsible for working with the agent network while utilizing strategic account management processes to drive growth throughout all areas of the business.
Essential Job Functions
Manage the company’s top strategic accounts to retain and build collaborative relationships.
Seek out and develop new opportunities for the agent network.
Help customers and agents to exceed goals by managing and communicating customer expectations and service requirements with essential parties.
Manage the development and maintenance of a continuous stream of pipeline opportunities for Business Development.
Reduce business and opportunity risk by organizing meetings and planning sessions to utilize internal and external resources to prevent customer issues.
Oversee and conduct new and existing customer solicitation.
Lead the on-boarding process with agents and other necessary departments to ensure a successful startup and relationship development.
Ensure that Marketing, Agents, and Business Development are conducting all essential reporting.
Manage the development, implementation, and communication of special programs, projects, and initiatives.
Assist agents on sales calls with significant customers to further develop opportunities.
Work to increase efficiencies and develop or improve processes that are beneficial for both customers and agents.
